To mobilize all resources to complete land acquisition on the expressway project, section Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Tran Phuoc Hien, on May 7 met with leaders of relevant departments and localities about the results of the compensation work of the North-South expressway, section Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon.
It is reported that the North-South Expressway passes through Tu Nghia, Nghia Hanh, Mo Duc district and Duc Pho town with a length of 60.3km, covering an area of 494ha.
According to the report of the Provincial Transport Works Investment Project Management Board (the Management Board), the works of compensation and resettlement have been completed 99%.
As of April 30, 2024, the area with completed site clearance work is 489.2 out of 494 hectares, reaching 99% of the total planned area.
Currently, 59 households, covering 4.94 hectares on the main route, have not yet handed over the site to the construction unit.
Regarding the relocation of public works, the relocation of all 8 high-voltage transmission lines has been completed. The site has been handed over to the Project Management Board 2.
However, so far the relocation of 33/41 road pillars has been completed for construction works of medium and low voltage lines, clean water and telecommunications.
At the meeting, vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien requested relevant departments and localities to clearly explain the reasons why site clearance work has been behind schedule compared to the request of the Prime Minister.
He urged them to mobilize all resources to complete land acquisition throughout the section as soon as possible to hand over clean site to the construction unit.
